En route, enjoy scenic stops like Cheeyappara Falls and tea gardens. Arrive by evening and check in to a hillside resort. The cooler climate and lush hills signal your arrival in Kerala’s tea country.
Today, explore Munnar’s iconic tea heritage. Visit a working tea factory to learn about processing, followed by Nilgiri tea tasting. Stop at panoramic viewpoints like Top Station and Photo Point.
Optional: Short nature walk or Eravikulam National Park visit (home to Nilgiri Tahr). In the evening, relax in your resort surrounded by misty hills and fresh mountain air. Overnight in Munnar.
Drive to Thekkady, passing spice plantations and forest-covered hills. On arrival, check into a jungle-lodge-style resort. Visit a spice plantation with a local guide to learn about cardamom, cinnamon, and pepper. In the evening, attend a martial arts or tribal performance, or explore the local spice market.
Optionally, take a nature walk inside Periyar reserve. Overnight in Thekkady.
